Armadillidium vulgare "Japanese Magic Potion"
Japanese Magic Potions are a medium sized and active isopod making them entertaining to watch. These also make for a good clean up crew in a vivarium. Though they are high in calcium, they make poor feeders because they are not very palatable.

Care Level: Beginner
Temperature: 70 - 75F. Can tolerate higher and lower temperatures better than other isopods.
Moisture/Humidity: Damp on one side, dry on the other. Mist heavily over damp side.
Diet: Dried leaves, rotting wood, vegetables, freeze dried peas and freeze dried minnows.
Distribution: Europe and Asia however, they are found all over the world and this variant was isolated in Japan.
